Lighten Up with Melanie Dale

I use laughter as a coping strategy for life’s messes and this podcast to externally process everything going on in my mind, from books to the zombie apocalypse. Each episode I invite a friend to join me and we discuss hot topics, relationships, faith, trends, books, movies, and the latest developments on important things like Netflix and Twitter. I ask them how they lighten up and how they’re sharing the light in their communities. My goal is for you to feel like you’re sitting in the room with us while we eat Nerds Ropes, cackle hysterically, and solve all the world’s problems.

Melanie talks with Elisha Wilson Beach, blogger at mylifeisabeach.com, about motherhood, dance, her nursing photo that went viral, and walking the red carpet. Her brand new baby was cooing in her lap while they talked, and if you listen carefully, you’ll hear lil’ baby noises throughout. This is just some of the bonus material you get when you listen in and lighten up.

Melanie talks with Ann Swindell about her new book, Still Waiting: Hope for When God Doesn’t Give You What You Want. Melanie talks with Ashlee Gadd, founder of Coffee+Crumbs, about her new book, The Magic of Motherhood, and the epic launch party she planned where all the Coffee+Crumbs writers came together for the first time ever. They also talk about running Coffee+Crumbs, writing and storytelling, and of course, motherhood. Listen in...and lighten up!
